This (1 week) essential Spiti valley jeep safari begins at Manali and we journey through the magnificent Rohtang and Kunzam passes and through the little known valleys of the Chandra, Spiti, Pin, and the mighty Satluj rivers and ends at Shimla. In the first couple of days we will take in the sights on the left bank plateau and get acclimatized to the altitude.
We will then safari to the highest villages in the world and experience Spitian culture through traditional homestays along with visits to ancient monasteries that are the cultural and spiritual hubs of the Spitian way of life.

Highest Point – Kunzam La (pass) 4551mts.
Highest Village – Komik (4513 mts).
Season – May to October.
Route – Manali-Spiti-Nako*-Shimla (*subject to alterations due to road conditions)
PLEASE NOTE
This itinerary can also be run in reverse (starting Shimla and ending at Manali) provided the route is operational. The trip can also be booked as a Delhi to Delhi trip, wherein the Delhi to Manali and Shimla to Delhi add on’s can be designed as per your need and convenience.
**The road to Spiti valley via the Kunzam pass usually opens for vehicular traffic in the beginning of June, Tours in the month of May will be routed as Shimla – Spiti – Shimla and will incorporate the tour itinerary in reverse with minor adjustments (if the pass is closed for vehicles).
